This is what happens when a grandma comes over with a camera...80 photos to sift through!!  Ellie had a great first day of modeling.

1 month old already!

We can't believe our little girl is already 1 month old!  She spent her birthday shopping with her mommy and Auntie Heidi.  She also got kicked out of a bar!  Yes there is more to this story.  We ran into my Aunt Chris and cousin Emily out shopping and we headed to McCormick's for Sunday happy hour bites and beverages...apparently when you are a month old you can't be in a bar, even though you have no control over your own arms and legs and certainly won't be sneaking any drinks :-)  So we sat in the restaurant section, where Ellie slept off the excitement of her big day.

  She's more alert and wiggly everyday.  It is so much fun to watch her change.  She has discovered her hands, her smile, and definitely her voice.  A few pictures below are from the past 2 weeks.

 A visit from Great Grandma Joyce.  Grandma's prediction "Ellie you will be very tall and blonde.  You will be in the movies and make your parents lots of money."  So we'll see how that turns out :)

 Don't let these pictures fool you, she is not the biggest fan of her swing...but for a few minutes she can be entertained!

3 Weeks Old and Growing!!!

Our little munchkin is growing like a weed!  She's passed the 10lb mark and has grown 3"...she's going through clothes like crazy!  We've become quite familiar with the baby sections of Freddy's and Target these days.
Ellie is very alert (when she's not snoozing or face down in some food!) and has started to take interest in her mobiles!

 Getting in some snooze time before leaving for her first well child check with Dr. White.  As it turns out she is quite well!  Over 97th percentile on her height and 90th percentile on her weight!

Happy 2 Weeks to Our Baby Girl!

Can't believe it's been 2 weeks...we can't get enough of this little girl.  She has been nothing but a pure delight (which we remind ourselves of around her 4am feeding time!) 

Absolute Sweetness! 

Yep she really does smile in her sleep 

We call this..."mom I'm ready to eat" 

And we're sleeping again! 

But at least we wake up with a smile!
